Deviation Actions
Don't listen to the title. It's lying. It's lies, all of it!!
So what is really going on, then?
I'm glad you asked, me, who is typing in italics. My first commission went off without really a hitch. The commissioner (sadly, it's not Gordon) seems quite happy with the outcome, which is something I feel pretty damn proud of myself!!
Other than that, some of my message checking is now waning in a weird and random kind of way - I have checked a bunch of messages in some areas of my message centre, but not in others.
The notes seem to be half and half.
The messages I have checked so far are just the ongoing ones. The ones pertaining to journals, responses to my art (in this case, the fairy sketches), etc haven't felt my loving attention for the last 6 or so days, which is (funnily enough) when the old schoolin' thing kicked in again.
The new deviation list and polls are sort of hit or miss.
So, does that mean you are going to get right on top of these things, since you are currently jumping around Deviantart, writing this journal?
Hasty, aren't we, italic me? I can just see you sitting there, playing with your italian mustache. I was considering doing that, but then thought it might be better to put up a journal stating what was happening. After all, if I answer the rest of my message centre areas, it still does not tell everyone that it is starting to slow right up again, as predicted, and especially since I wanted to mention a bunch of things.
So journal first, rest of messages after. Quite possibly after this journal is written, but I am sooo tired.
HA! You're just weak.
Okay, italic me, that is just mean. I've been busy this week settling back into the school life with new classes for the year, and when I haven't been in class I have been writing out chapter summaries for my graphic novel, going over other ponderments for a fairy comic, also trying to figure out how to rewrite the first four chapters of a novel in such a clever way where I don't have to mention the protagonist's name in a 3rd person view.
On the graphic novel, Dreamspace / Splash, I have written out three more chapter summaries, so I can technically start thumbnails for the next chapter.
Based on some comments I have skimmed over regarding , it seems a fairy comic with characters of this nature is popular with all three commenters - I think there were three, so writing up a plot for this is now also a goal.
Also I've been discussing the overall plot of a concept which the creator of said concept really hopes will make it into production, and quite frankly, so do I. I have been doing some concept art for her based on her initial drawings of characters, some of which you have already seen in my gallery.
Holy crap, you really expect to find time for all this and still get all your homework and assignments done?
I'm highly optimistic, italic me. And I know myself well enough that these personal projects tend to fall to the wayside, so I need to set up a structure and really stick to it. Certain days may only be designated for various projects, likely weekends. Since weekdays contain class and all, it means I will probably be spending less time staying on top of messages, which is probably the whole point of this journal.
But hey, I won't get anywhere if I don't set this up and stick to it.
And commissions?
I will accept commissions. Money is my friend.
Art trades?
Possibly, though probably unlikely given the coming time constraints.
Free requests?
A couple of you have recently asked me if I do requests, and I had to tell you that I don't - however since I hadn't returned to class yet, I asked what you wanted, and said it would only be a sketch.
I picked one, as I could only pick one, based on humanoid proportion practice, which is something I need to keep on top of. The other... I couldn't do.
As for future requests, don't count on it. But if you are feeling lucky, try your luck, I might just have a little bit of time to pump out a free sketch!
So... now what?
Now the journal is done, italic me. I don't need you anymore.
Wait, wha-
BANG.
...............you missed.
Ah, dammit!

Summer Mini-Commissions: Open
With it now being summer, and Christmas just around the corner, it is time for the next set of mini-commission themes! As always, the themes this season will be discounted compared to all other mini-commission prices, so if you see something you like, wing me a message! :3 Additionally, given that Christmas is now less than 3 weeks away, it would be best to put a disclaimer here and let you guys know that, while I will be working on the mini-commissions as soon as I can, some of them may not be completed before the end of the year either due to there being many mini-commissions, or if they are purchased too close to Christmas. Any commissions essentially still leftover by Christmas and New Year will be completed in January. Theme 1: Pokemon I will draw a Pokemon character, be it canon, or an OC; be it a trainer, or from PMD, or anything that is Pokemon-related! Bonus: For an additional $5 USD, Tarri included. :3 Theme 2: The Legend of Zelda I will draw a Zelda character, or your

Theme 2: Spyro the Dragon I will draw a Spyro character, be it a canon character or an OC. Bonus: For an additional $5 USD, I will throw in my Spyro OC as well!
