Arty, Farty, Pudding and Poop.
Gather 'round for a generous scoop.
I know it looks questionable and perhaps a bit smelly,
But keep it in mind it once came from your belly.

And now that I have put you all off from reading my journal, let us proceed.

Life

Life sucks, proceed to next chapter.

Death

Few of you may already know, but life sucks. For those not aware, please read the above chapter, which shall be recapped in this chapter, within this very sentence prior to the text you are currently reading.
Suffering three close family deaths within a period of eight months is no fun experience. Starting last year, about a year ago, when my last remaining grandfather died at the age of 93. It's a remarkable age, don't get me wrong.
But then at the beginning of this year, my uncle (59) suddenly passed away, while he was visiting. We never saw it coming, and I have to wonder, if he ever did...
While this was going on, my grandmother (whom I loved to absolute pieces) was not doing so well. In a nutshell (because it hurts to ponder over), she was having a lot of problems health-wise, and no one knew why. Until we found out.
And she passed away in March.
So suffice to say, this year has been the worst ever, which has seriously affected my progress into obtaining my bachelor, but I press on with those scars.
That said, two more family members. Yeah. One is due for death, the other most likely to pass away.
I heard three family deaths. Do I hear five?
So yes. This year has been an absolute *#&!!$.

New Friendships

With all this powerful negative string of events that just seem to keep going, 2014 has at least given me a new friendship. I met her not long after my grandmother's death, and after being really chatty with each other on different occasions, we have sparked quite a close friendship, and she has made it her (almost) daily ambition to kidnap me so we can continue to talk and hang out after a day of classes and assignment work.
Also her dad shouted us the movies, and we went to see Mrs. Brown's Boys.
It was friggin' awesome and hilarious.

Questioning my Poke-dentity...

A lot of you probably know that in terms of pokemon, I have always typically identified myself as Eevee. And while I would probably associate my personality to more of a Mew, I do try to stay away from legendary pokemon if I can help it.
A while ago I pondered what pokemon my personality matches well with compared to various pokemon types, and one type I questioned was the Electric Type. Some of you may already have seen my poll, which asks you to vote on which Electric Type pokemon you would be, based entirely on your personality, as opposed to the "What is your favourite Electric Type Pokemon" question.
Although from some of the way the comments read, I fear the question wasn't read, and people are choosing their favourites, not their personalities.
But anyway.
Mine? Pachirisu. Apparently it suits me.
Really well.
Seriously.
And I have stumbled across many animated gif files which actually portray real events (aka meddling and messing with my friends) that reflect so darn perfectly.
So my poke-dentity is called into question... and I feel that my personality reflects a Pachirisu far more than an Eevee.
So... should I try on the Pachirisusona and see where that leads?
Does this scare you all?
Do I do it for the big, poofy tail?

Storytime, Children

Of dragons...
Recently, my thoughts have wandered back to a novel I started writing some time ago, which has been left in the dark for literally years.
But I want to continue it - I have four chapters, and I wish to continue.
So I want to try and find some time for writing. I've missed creative writing.

...and fairies
I also once drew up a very simple comic panel of sorts, with two kid fairies playing a video game. I have showed a few of my friends, and one of them said if it was a comic, he would buy it.
So perhaps a simple little fairy comic full of little fairy adventures is an idea.
What do you think?
(The image isn't up on DA, but I have done some fairy art, which is currently floating around in my gallery under the more recent submissions... go take a look-see! I'd appreciate it!) :meow:

Other than that...

I've had a rough one. My family has had a rough one.
No denying that.
And today I was planning to do some work on one of my assignments for one of my papers, and I did do a little bit... but I am all like bweh.
Good day to ye, children~

 Im so sorry that the last yearhas been so rough. Just keep on swimming. Good to know youve got someone nearby, though!

Id say go for it but bite-sises... with your bachelors already having suffered and all... the book you can take at your own pace so it doesnt matter uch, id guess, but regular comic publications take commitment and time... I'd love to see a cmoic by you, but maybe its a good idea to not make a series *right now*. Unless the added rush of the comic would help keep you motivated and going. :P
