Tarri and Melody Roo by TarriPup
Tarri and Melody Roo
Okay, so this is probably the second fanart I have submitted for a concept which belongs to :icontaliyus:... well, second submitted... I have a few unfinished pieces scattered, but I decided to finish this one first in the little bits of spare time I have (which isn't much - this was compiled over a matter of days, rather than in one).
So first I will introduce this one.
This one, unlike the last (Hello, dinner by TarriPup), which is art of one of the canon characters, this one is purely fan character art.
So the fan character version of me, ever calling myself Tarri in these situations, is the bigger brother of 9 years old with my 7 year-old sister, Melody, in tow (just to point out, fan character sister - I don't have a sister in real life sadly).

And... yeah I think that does it. :meow:

Tarri and Melody Roo, and the art, are all by me,
Taliyus, it's characters, and concept all belong to :icontaliyus:
Rise and Shine Pachirisu! Oh, wait... by TarriPup
Rise and Shine Pachirisu! Oh, wait...
It's been on my mind for quite a while... Oh? Yes! That is correct! I haven't submitted art in forever!
How observant~

Anyhoo, I have been having a little poke-dentity debate as of late. Ever since I wondered which electric-type pokemon would suit my personality, well... Pachirisu.
No contest.
And then it had begun festering in my mind... and seriously, after viewing images and animated gifs of Pachirisu, well... let's just say I have seen so many similarities in personality.
I'm not even kidding - there are LITERALLY gif sequences that actually imitate various actions and play I have had with my friends.
I don't even think Eevee is my closest match... but, I have been typically poke-trayed as an Eevee for like... ever.
So... it's been in my head for a long time, obviously.
But... I'm starting to think that I'm more like Pachirisu.
That is if you don't take legendary pokemon into account. Because you know, who wants to be a legendary? Everyone does. And that just ruins it.
So legendary = off-limits. FOR EVERYONE. Cue evil laugh.

So yes~
Here is Pachirisu (which could be me-chirisu) at the break of dawn.

(Also I suppose this can count for Pokedexxy as my favourite Electric Rodent, despite not being done in order. I don't think I have enough time to do all of them, at least anytime soon).

I'm Tarri. Hi.
Pokemon belongs to Nintendo.
The art is mine. Do not use it or post it or anything in anyway without my permission.

Name: Tarri (nickname)
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blond
Astrological Sign: Libra-Scorpio Cusp
Birthmark: Red triangular mark. Turns purple in the cold.
Occupation: Student

Senior Student currently living in Invercargill, South Island, New Zealand, in my last year studying the Bachelor of Digital Media - Animation (Degree).

From the township of Dargaville in the Winterless North, on the island of the... uh... North Island, New Zealand, I gained my first Diploma in Digital Multimedia Production at Northtec in Whangarei (NI, NZ) before trading the warm-to-hot part of Aotearoa where no one knows what a winter is, to the most southern city this island archipelago, situated at New Zealand's butt.
But this butt blows no greenhouse winds to keep us warm - instead, I live in a realm of polar winds blowing in from the Antarctic, and where hail is bountiful.

I continue to study and live here, wondering what the hell I was thinking.

Along with the excitement of animating and drawing, along with the personal hell that are essays and research projects, I am also a published graphic novelist - sadly, not for sale under conventional means, and only one volume published at this time.

My goal in life is to get my art to awesome specs and to write awesome stories.
And possibly animate the hell out of them if I have time.
Arty, Farty, Pudding and Poop.
Gather 'round for a generous scoop.
I know it looks questionable and perhaps a bit smelly,
But keep it in mind it once came from your belly.

And now that I have put you all off from reading my journal, let us proceed.

Life sucks, proceed to next chapter.

Few of you may already know, but life sucks. For those not aware, please read the above chapter, which shall be recapped in this chapter, within this very sentence prior to the text you are currently reading.
Suffering three close family deaths within a period of eight months is no fun experience. Starting last year, about a year ago, when my last remaining grandfather died at the age of 93. It's a remarkable age, don't get me wrong.
But then at the beginning of this year, my uncle (59) suddenly passed away, while he was visiting. We never saw it coming, and I have to wonder, if he ever did...
While this was going on, my grandmother (whom I loved to absolute pieces) was not doing so well. In a nutshell (because it hurts to ponder over), she was having a lot of problems health-wise, and no one knew why. Until we found out.
And she passed away in March.
So suffice to say, this year has been the worst ever, which has seriously affected my progress into obtaining my bachelor, but I press on with those scars.
That said, two more family members. Yeah. One is due for death, the other most likely to pass away.
I heard three family deaths. Do I hear five?
So yes. This year has been an absolute *#&!!$.

New Friendships

With all this powerful negative string of events that just seem to keep going, 2014 has at least given me a new friendship. I met her not long after my grandmother's death, and after being really chatty with each other on different occasions, we have sparked quite a close friendship, and she has made it her (almost) daily ambition to kidnap me so we can continue to talk and hang out after a day of classes and assignment work.
Also her dad shouted us the movies, and we went to see Mrs. Brown's Boys.
It was friggin' awesome and hilarious.

Questioning my Poke-dentity...

A lot of you probably know that in terms of pokemon, I have always typically identified myself as Eevee. And while I would probably associate my personality to more of a Mew, I do try to stay away from legendary pokemon if I can help it.
A while ago I pondered what pokemon my personality matches well with compared to various pokemon types, and one type I questioned was the Electric Type. Some of you may already have seen my poll, which asks you to vote on which Electric Type pokemon you would be, based entirely on your personality, as opposed to the "What is your favourite Electric Type Pokemon" question.
Although from some of the way the comments read, I fear the question wasn't read, and people are choosing their favourites, not their personalities.
But anyway.
Mine? Pachirisu. Apparently it suits me.
Really well.
And I have stumbled across many animated gif files which actually portray real events (aka meddling and messing with my friends) that reflect so darn perfectly.
So my poke-dentity is called into question... and I feel that my personality reflects a Pachirisu far more than an Eevee.
So... should I try on the Pachirisusona and see where that leads?
Does this scare you all?
Do I do it for the big, poofy tail?

Storytime, Children

Of dragons...
Recently, my thoughts have wandered back to a novel I started writing some time ago, which has been left in the dark for literally years.
But I want to continue it - I have four chapters, and I wish to continue.
So I want to try and find some time for writing. I've missed creative writing.

...and fairies
I also once drew up a very simple comic panel of sorts, with two kid fairies playing a video game. I have showed a few of my friends, and one of them said if it was a comic, he would buy it.
So perhaps a simple little fairy comic full of little fairy adventures is an idea.
What do you think?
(The image isn't up on DA, but I have done some fairy art, which is currently floating around in my gallery under the more recent submissions... go take a look-see! I'd appreciate it!) :meow:

Other than that...

I've had a rough one. My family has had a rough one.
No denying that.
And today I was planning to do some work on one of my assignments for one of my papers, and I did do a little bit... but I am all like bweh.
Good day to ye, children~

Yeah, I'm one of the introverted, shy types (even on the internet). I've been trying to be a little bit more out going lately, but I probably wouldn't have said anything last year.

Well it's easier on the net to talk, all you gotta do is just go for it! :meow:
I mean I can talk really easily over the web, real life is a bit harder for me lol... but I have gotten better with talking to random people. :)
